January Meeting 1/14/12 @ 6PM! - OFFICER ELECTIONS!

Beau is hosting the January Meeting this coming Saturday the 14th at 6PM.  It will be BYOB as well as a snack to share and raffle items are always welcome.  It has been requested that there be “NO SHOES” on the carpet due to it being a whitish color.

He doesn’t have a tank to view but we will have plenty to discuss in hopes that it will get the NEW YEAR off to a good start.  The annual membership fees are due, so now would be a good time to get them in to our Treasurer Stacey Hahn.   Fees are $20 per individual or $25 per family

Attendance was low at the election meeting in November and no votes were taken at December’s meeting so we have decided to take votes for anyone that didn’t get the opportunity in November and will be attending this meeting.
We will add the votes to November’s ballots and the announcement will be made during the meeting so we can go forward.
NOMINATIONS:
President:  Jim & Nacho
V. President: Ed, Bo & Daniel Leigey
Treasurer: Stacey
Secretary: Carmen & Angie

Let’s hope the New Year brings new members, returning members and new ideas.  The club is always willing to take suggestions to get the most out of the hobby we all enjoy.

Please PM Nate C. by clicking here for directions if you are not a club member.

Club members can click here to go to the club member only forum to get directions.

Hope to see you all there!

Thanks Ed!  Saturday morning 9AM at our rental on Keene is when and where.  We'll also be looking to come over and get the trailer from you tomorrow anytime that is good for you after about 3 PM.  Let me know when works for you and we'll plan to meet you to get it.

Probably too far for me to stop and help, huh?  Good luck, wish I could make it.

Well, we got the move done, thanks to everyone that spent the majority of their day helping us get it done!  We lost our powder brown tang, and a few coral aren't looking very happy, but the water is clearing up, the smell has disappeared from the water, and things seem to be returning to normal.

A HUGE thanks to Ed, Rod and Jim & Laura and Craig for the use of buckets, coolers, pumps, tubs and muscle.  Without you, we'd still be trying to get the tank out of the other place!  It's friends like you guys that make this such a great club.  Nacho and Karen, no worries, I think we had the perfect number of people there helping.  We didn't really end up with anyone standing around not having something to do...but I don't think we would have needed any more people than we had.

Now...I just have to get the new tank up and running...and we can do one last move of everything from one tank to the other.   Smiley
