January Meeting 1/14/12 @ 6PM! - OFFICER ELECTIONS!

Beau is hosting the January Meeting this coming Saturday the 14th at 6PM.  It will be BYOB as well as a snack to share and raffle items are always welcome.  It has been requested that there be “NO SHOES” on the carpet due to it being a whitish color.

He doesn’t have a tank to view but we will have plenty to discuss in hopes that it will get the NEW YEAR off to a good start.  The annual membership fees are due, so now would be a good time to get them in to our Treasurer Stacey Hahn.   Fees are $20 per individual or $25 per family

Attendance was low at the election meeting in November and no votes were taken at December’s meeting so we have decided to take votes for anyone that didn’t get the opportunity in November and will be attending this meeting.
We will add the votes to November’s ballots and the announcement will be made during the meeting so we can go forward.
NOMINATIONS:
President:  Jim & Nacho
V. President: Ed, Bo & Daniel Leigey
Treasurer: Stacey
Secretary: Carmen & Angie

Let’s hope the New Year brings new members, returning members and new ideas.  The club is always willing to take suggestions to get the most out of the hobby we all enjoy.

Please PM Nate C. by clicking here for directions if you are not a club member.

Club members can click here to go to the club member only forum to get directions.

Hope to see you all there!

Hay All,
Im so excited and just wanted to share with you.  We came across a bargan we just couldnt pass up.  We picked up another tank!!  it is used, but its new to us, 125gl with stand, sump, skimmer, pumps, and already plumbed.  Have to upgrade the lighting, and plan on altering the stand a bit.  But we have a start for a REAL SW set-up.  Its going to be fun going from 10gl to 125gl salt.  We are also going to have to re-arrange the house to add another tank, but I like to change things around every once in a while anyway.  We are definately changing our Den into a fish room.  this will make tank 5 in one room.  its the room we spend the most time in, and we want to enjoy the tanks, so they just join us in the TV room Grin.
Ill really be hunting for help and info when it comes to stocking this tank.
Im planning on having enough lighting to get corals, and i want fish too, I know I will want a mandrian goby as soon as I think I can keep one alive.  also want anenomies.   Im a sucker for softies too, I guess I just want it all.  I will need help to make sure we dont over do it, cause i dont want coral wars either.

Thanks for listening,
Karen

Great news Karen, I'm sure you will do just fine with the bigger tank.  Have fun with the set-up!
