April meeting 4/14 @ 7PM - Grant's house

Laura and Jim will be hosting the May meeting this Saturday the 12th and it will be the usual of food, drinks, raffle and fun.

Doors will be open at 6:00 pm for social talk and the meeting will start at 7:00.  Parking gets a little tight and the city says you can't park on 4th but there is a parking lot a block away.   Meeting is usually held in the backyard so feel free to bring your favorite lawn chair, weather permitting of course.

If you need address/directions, contact a club member.

Best if you park at Mini Mall (where the spaghetti establishment use to be)

You will get to see his new frag tank set up in the making.

Hope to see you there!

Shannon at Reeftopia wanted me to pass this information on to the club. This is good information pertaining to group orders and specifically how to split up the order.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

GROUP ORDER INFORMATION PLEASE READ THROUGH..

We are happy to work with group orders. As far as discounts go we offer the lot price page items and we offer the 10% discount on orders placed online that are over $200.00.
We ask you to online orders because of the accuracy of the order, credit card #s, shipping, and billing information. Please have order in the day before the order is set to go out.

We also don't encourage orders over $500.00 for the sake of the person distributing. It can get confusing and if the order becomes too large you will find that you have taken orders from people you do not know very well and things like collecting payment and waiting for people to pick up their critters can make things frustrating.
For the Reeftopia guarantee to apply we need to know that the critters will stay packed in their individual plastic bags, be picked up no later than early evening and only go through one acclimation.

All items can be packed in quantities according to each persons order with the amount written on each bag but not the person’s name. We prefer to split into quantities ordered for the well being of the critters. The critters can wait for acclimation until early evening as long as they have been kept in a dark, cool temperature control area without being opened. On the spreadsheet breakdown all splits accordingly in each column.
Example:
HERMIT,SM BLUE 24,24,24,50,24,100,40,24,100 each quantity goes in a column.

Due to freight costs we have to limit how small some of the splits can go. We can split into the quantities we already sell. The smallest lot of small blue leg hermits is sold in lots of 24. We cannot split any smaller than that on small blue legs. Medium blue legs can be split in quantities 12 and larger. Peppermint shrimp, nudi branches, emerald crabs and other items we sell individually can be split any way that’s convenient.

Please make sure that everyone that is participating in the group order can pick up on the evening of the arrival of the shipment. Earlier in the day is better but that evening is the latest everything can be distributed for our guarantee to apply. Here is our daily spread sheet for you to place the orders on to make the splits less confusing. We still prefer for you to order online as well and email the spread sheet. It gives us the 2 orders to work from and will catch any errors on any end. Please have order in the day before your order is set to go out.
Please do not change our excel sheet just add your splits.  Keep the columns size the same and do not add names.

If you have any other question just let us know. 1-800-282-2026.

Looking at the Reeftopia site checkout I don't see a spreadsheet or any way to break up items. Perhaps a phone call before the next group order will clear things up.

Yep, Robert, I typically do use that form (just have to e-mail them to get it ahead of time).  Due to the rushed nature of the order when we finally decided to place it, didn't have time to mess with trying to get it and put everything into the sheet.  Figured we have lots of baggies, and a nice dark room, so we can do the splitting up of stuff here.   Wink  Nobody has all that far to go once they get things anyway.

Jeff,  Actually, you haven't been to our place...we sold our house and moved into a rental in August last year.  And, we'll be moving again next month into the new place (with the new and bigger tank built in one of the walls).  I'll PM you directions and my cell number.

The Reeftopia Order FINALLY showed up about 15 minutes ago.  Need another 1/2 hours or so to get things counted and split up.   My phone # is 366-9693 - give me a call when you want to come get stuff!   Smiley
