Laura and Jim will be hosting the May meeting this Saturday the 12th and it will be the usual of food, drinks, raffle and fun.
 
Doors will be open at 6:00 pm for social talk and the meeting will start at 7:00.  Parking gets a little tight and the city says you can't park on 4th but there is a parking lot a block away.   Meeting is usually held in the backyard so feel free to bring your favorite lawn chair, weather permitting of course.

If you need address/directions, contact a club member.

Best if you park at Mini Mall (where the spaghetti establishment use to be)
 
You will get to see his new frag tank set up in the making.

I'm interested. I'd be interested in one of the janitor packs, except I don't need turbo snails. Unfortunately, all the janitor packs are heavy on turbos. I don't suppose that's the type of snail you're looking for?

Which kind of turbo? The small Astraes or the regular turbos? I like the regular turbos but the astraes don't fair so well in my tank. I can place the order unless someone else wants to do it. Let's start making lists to see where we are in $
Marty, if they are the regular turbos I will just take yours out of the pack you buy. (If you want)

Ok guys! Rick and Barbie came over this weekend and we got the lights done on my tank! Wahoo! Those two people right there really rock!!! Now it is time for some more STUFF! So, let's plan on getting the order delivered on April 29 or 30. I will need all orders in by 4/27. Thanks.

I would be interested in seeing what i can order.  I could use some snails (not large turbo)  How much more do you need to have a free shipping order?  or what $ range are you shooting for.  Is there a place I can look at a catalog?  or just let me know common items i can get.  where to get the $ to, and how your process works for group orders.   Im new at this, but it sure sounds like a good idea.  Right now I only have the 10gl set up, but will be setting up another tank soon.  Cant wait to tell you all about it!   Im so excited

I will share some snails and crabs with Todd (boy that sounds bad) Im also interested in     1 Purple caclus gorgonian, 1 caribbean corallimorph, 1 single orange ricordia, 1 single green ricordia.  I would also be interested in their blue zoos if they are available by the time you place the order.

These items will be going into a 10gl. Please advise me if these are wise to get at this time.   It will be a while before we have the 125gl set up.

Do you wanna go in with Karen? It would be $16 for the astreas and it looks like the blue hermits would be $18 for each of you to get 50.

Karen- I have seen Rick's gorgonian and they can be tall...so it just depends on how tall your tank is and if there is room in there. I think the other stuff is fine, though. Correct me if I am wrong club members!

I think with Todd and Karen we may be there. I will figure out totals as soon as I hear from Todd and Karen.

ok, take off the gorgonian, add a flower anemone, i think it will be ok in my tank.  If Todd does not want the snails or blue hermits, ill wait on those.

When i mentioned sharing with Todd, i didnt realize i would be getting 50 of each critter.  Will having that many snails and hermits be too many for my 10 gl?  I could put some in the fuge (4gl).  How big are these astreas?
