Mid-Columbia Saltwater Aquarium Club

April meeting 4/14 @ 7PM - Grant's house

Laura and Jim will be hosting the May meeting this Saturday the 12th and it will be the usual of food, drinks, raffle and fun.

Doors will be open at 6:00 pm for social talk and the meeting will start at 7:00.  Parking gets a little tight and the city says you can't park on 4th but there is a parking lot a block away.   Meeting is usually held in the backyard so feel free to bring your favorite lawn chair, weather permitting of course.

If you need address/directions, contact a club member.

Best if you park at Mini Mall (where the spaghetti establishment use to be)

You will get to see his new frag tank set up in the making.

Hope to see you there!

Actually I e-mailed them and it will run off of just about any pump..  They are kinda expensive though.  The 4 port version is $199.  And the Rotator thingy's are $29 a piece or $299 for the 4 port and 4 rotator thingy's.  Looks pretty cool.  I don't know I I would want to spend that much and then have flex line running all over in my tank.  However a squid and 2 of the rotator thingy's might not be bad and that would only cost you about $100..  Hmmmmm

I thought for two hundred dollars you would have 4 ports rotating water.  I guess I misunderstood it.   I thought maybe you could branch off a side of your pump if you wanted to go with a scwd?   I remember that you can not go more than 1400 gallons of flow per hour with SCWD.    I know you have that big daddy cool( very nice )  Cool  pump.   I know that water flow is reduced by SQWD.    My opinion you might be better off with a Sea Swirl very little reduction of flow.    My 1/2 inch sea swirl with a Rio 1400 looks like it is putting out more flow than my SCWD with a Mag 18?  Just my opinion.  And I owe you a thank you again.   We are getting DSL through Verizon.  We should have it by the 18th of this month.  Thanks for the heads up on the 30 dollar a month deal.   We figured we make most of our long distance calls with Cells now.  We got the deal where you pay 32.95 and 29.95 a month.   I can't wait to feel the power.
