April meeting 4/14 @ 7PM - Grant's house

Laura and Jim will be hosting the May meeting this Saturday the 12th and it will be the usual of food, drinks, raffle and fun.

Doors will be open at 6:00 pm for social talk and the meeting will start at 7:00.  Parking gets a little tight and the city says you can't park on 4th but there is a parking lot a block away.   Meeting is usually held in the backyard so feel free to bring your favorite lawn chair, weather permitting of course.

If you need address/directions, contact a club member.

Best if you park at Mini Mall (where the spaghetti establishment use to be)

You will get to see his new frag tank set up in the making.

Hope to see you there!

It is hard to believe another year has gone racing by.  We had our first major flood this year and it resulted in a total remodel of the basement (no it was not fun Embarrassed).  And now that the 240 upstairs has completely died and we are getting ready to start a remodel of the living room and kitchen I am setting up the 180 starfire tank downstairs.  I hope to have it close to operational by the time of the Christmas party.

Barbie and I hope you all can make it to the 2007 Mid-Columbia Saltwater Aquarium Club meeting at 7 pm on Saturday December 8th.  We will have the annual Chinese gift exchange where everyone has great fun in trying to steal the gift they so desire and not get stuck with that padded fish motif toilet seat Shocked

As usual, please bring a small side dish / snack and of course the beverage of your choice.  Bring the kids, they have a great time with the gift exchange Smiley

We will be there and I can guarantee that the toilet will not ever haunt us again.  It was sold at the yard sale and of course went to a good cause so I hope no one is saddened by it.  I'm sure there will be another item that will surface and want to be re gifted next year.  That was pretty funny, if you ask me.

We will see you there, festive as usual.

I'm planning to be there--on the right day this time!

I assume we'll skip the raffle this time in favor of the gift stealing exchange?

Those who were expecting me to bring them something last time, let me know if I should bring it this time.

Years ago my mother used to say to me, she'd say, "In this world, Elwood, you must be" - she always called me Elwood - "In this world, Elwood, you must be oh so smart or oh so pleasant." Well, for years I was smart. I recommend pleasant. You may quote me.

Ditto!  I think we left our disposable camera there so if you find one, it's ours.

We had a great time.

Thanks!

Thank you all for joining us last night.  We had a great time!

We did find a camera, and we also found a little girl's snowman antlers and a santa's hat (or was that so we could store it for another year?).   Grin

I hope you all had as nice a time as Rick and I.
