April meeting 4/14 @ 7PM - Grant's house

Laura and Jim will be hosting the May meeting this Saturday the 12th and it will be the usual of food, drinks, raffle and fun.

Doors will be open at 6:00 pm for social talk and the meeting will start at 7:00.  Parking gets a little tight and the city says you can't park on 4th but there is a parking lot a block away.   Meeting is usually held in the backyard so feel free to bring your favorite lawn chair, weather permitting of course.

If you need address/directions, contact a club member.

Best if you park at Mini Mall (where the spaghetti establishment use to be)

You will get to see his new frag tank set up in the making.

Hope to see you there!

We doubled in size... :)

« on: November 12, 2007, 06:56:20 pm »

Well, after 10 years of a 45g, we upgraded to a 95.  It is like finally having a garage after parking on the street for 10 years  Smiley   Now that there is double the space, the tank really looks bare.  We have been buying small items here and there, polyps, mushrooms, zooz, ricordia, etc, but it still looks bare.

Does anyone have extras of whatever that we could buy? We don't have anything to trade, but buying one item from this store and one from that store is outrageous!

I am also looking to buy a chiller.  With our MH lights on, our tank gets over 82 easy.  If anyone knows of one for sale, I'd love to hear about it.

I am planning on going to the meeting on friday for a little while. One of my boys is having his 13th b-day sleepover so I won't be able to stay long.  On the otherhand, maybe I'll just bring my tent over there Smiley

thanks,
Kelly

I bought this tank from les's neighbor, 7 months ago... we finally got it up and running Nov. 2007.  The tang in there was Les's first one... I promised I would take good care of her...  Smiley

Kelly,

Did you see Ryan's post in the same forum about having stuff he wants to unload?

Rick,  I did see the info regarding the 20g...  We've played phone tag, but haven't spoken to eachother yet...

Ed, I checked out the website you suggested, but I don't know enough to even begin to tell you what I would want.  thanks for the offer, though.
