April meeting 4/14 @ 7PM - Grant's house

Laura and Jim will be hosting the May meeting this Saturday the 12th and it will be the usual of food, drinks, raffle and fun.

Doors will be open at 6:00 pm for social talk and the meeting will start at 7:00.  Parking gets a little tight and the city says you can't park on 4th but there is a parking lot a block away.   Meeting is usually held in the backyard so feel free to bring your favorite lawn chair, weather permitting of course.

If you need address/directions, contact a club member.

Best if you park at Mini Mall (where the spaghetti establishment use to be)

You will get to see his new frag tank set up in the making.

Hope to see you there!

Well, Rick & Barbie got a sneak preview of our tank last weekend and Les also knows where we live so between the two, everyone should be able to find their way. Smiley

As always, a head count of those that will be attending will be greatly appreciated.

Rick & Barbie, can you post the map since you guys are whizzes on following the huge poplar tree shadow in front of our house. Wink

Thanks!

Colleen and I plan to be there, still thinking we will drag the tralier out, but don't know if that will change or not.  Either way, we'll be there!

Ed, you'll just have to come out when you can.  Nate & Colleen, we have plenty of yard and we can hook you up.  We have a fire pit that we like to hang out at in the evening, so it would be like camping......I love camping. Cheesy

We are going to start at 5:00 and grill some tri tip and brats.  What the heck, might as well have a decent meal if you have to drive this far out.   Smiley

It's actually not a bad drive because I drive it daily and then some, being that I commute to Plymouth to work.

Awesome.  Tri Tip will get me there early!   Grin  Sounds good on hanging out around a fire pit and have it be like a camping trip (although, haven't gone camping with the intention of seeing a new reef tank before... Tongue).  We love camping too...heading out around noon today to do just that as a matter of fact!

See you next weekend.

I didn't realize that the third Saturday is on September 15th not on the 22nd so the meeting is set to be next Saturday.  The info up in the left hand corner says the 22nd but it should be the 15th...please make the correction.

Those that can't make it are more than welcome to stop by anytime to check it out.

If your coming from Richland and your on I82 going Eastbound, take the 4th street exit, turn left at the light and go north, this road becomes Glade North.  Continue about 30 miles until you get to the Stop sign in Basin City, turn left and watch for the Hardware store which is at the first right, take that right which is Canal Drive, then take a left at the third block which is Basin Drive and we are the second house on the left in front of the HUGE poplar tree.

140 Basin Drive, (509) 269-4620 or 539-0172

I contacted Susan Gray from Eltopia and she intends on being here.  She's been wanting to make it to one of our meetings so what a good opportunity.  She is one of the new members that came to the conference and has a 125 Gl.

My children want to know if other children are coming.  We have a trampoline and a swing set to keep them entertained.

See you guys this weekend.

So--the meeting's on the 15th then?  The notice originally said the 15th and was changed to the 22nd by request.  I will change it back if I can confirm that this is really happening on the 15th.

I had kept the 15th open and been disappointed about the change to the 22nd.  Now that I'm hearing the 15th again, it's too late--I've already got a conflict that night, which would have been avoidable if I'd known better.

It sounds like everyone was set for the 22nd which is fine with us.  I guess there was some confusion because we usually have the meetings on the second Saturday of the month which landed on the 8th and our request was to change it to the third Saturday which was the 15th.

We can wait another week so let's go ahead and do it on the 22nd.

Sorry for all the confusion.
